BUYERS BEWARE! those guys are a bunch of liars. I cancelled my hosting within 30days & is still waiting for my refund. The whole company only has 1 guy that process PayPal payment and first I was told he was on holiday. Second time I called, they said he's involved in a dispute with the company and I have to wait another 3 weeks (after initial 3 weeks) till they can process my refund.
Their prices are affordable but like they say, you pay for what you get. I rather pay more and get a better service than dealing with vistapages.com. Trust me you will be far happier with other host provider. STAY AWAY FROM VISTAPAGES.COM

This is the worst hosting company I've ever dealt with. For the first, their servers are very weak, they are down 10 hours a week. They don't provide with any kind of support and if you are lucky and they answer your calls or letters, they are unpolite and don't even understand you and your problem. And the last but not the least - they never pay the affiliate commissions. I've refered some customers to them, have earned 280 USD and they tell me that the check is sent, they tell it for the last 2 months already!!! But there isn't any check at all. I haven't still got the check for the commission. They just lie telling that they have sent it, but it is impossible that a letter can't get to my address for that 2 months, I'm getting letters from the USA and Canada in not more than 2 weeks. Conclusion - terrible servers and support, liers, fraud and scamers. Be aware of them!

I also been screwed by Vistapages they lost all my data and said I should have done a back up, well they should have done the same. Then in an attempt to change DNS they flat out said "NO", I then attempted to transfer my domain name and tickets were just closed no response. Yet with no explaination as to why.

Vistapages is a domain name RESELLER and not a REGISTRAR, they fall under ENOM Inc. Who clearly is not going to tolerate their shady practices and this is a good thing.

3. Top of page click HELP
4. Scroll to bottom of page click CONTACT US
5. On the right side of the page e-mail LEGAL SUPPORT
In less that 24 hours I received a EPP Code, or transfer authorization code, but this won't solve the hosting problems. But if you need to move a domain name, and being blocked by Vistapages this will work (My ticket then read I am REsending LOL). If they sent it the first, or second time I would have never had to e-mail Enom.
In fact Enom needs to know exactly which type of reseller they are dealing with. Vistapages is clearly in violation of ICANN, and Enom is not going to allow them to be, Big ups to Enom. SO let's all e-mail Enom Inc. legal sevices.
OK, don't fight with Vistapages about domain names, they will only make your life a living hell.

I don't hate Vistapages because it's not in my nature, I only expect the service in which I paid for, that they did not provide. Saying that, I was in, now I want out, well in fact I got out, lost money (plenty of documents to prove it), but a leason well learned.
Saying that, is also to say this, I really didn't care about the domain name anyway, they killed it, I lost money on it, and the domain is tarnished. I only fought because I knew they was in violation of ICANN, and they can not stop you from transfering domain names. Provided the domain name has not expired and money owed, or within 60 days of transfer, renewal, or just purchased. Check ICANN rules.
I can go on and on, but I will not, only trying to help consumers who feel that they have been screwed but want to move on. The information provided above will assist you with recovering your domain name from Vistapages. But next your credit card company, or paypal will help you recover your money from this horrible hosting service.
I am working on this next, and will update once successful, we all want a good hosting service. But no one wants to get screwed out of their money illegally.

The server is very slow, the billing-email adress permanentely full - so you got a mailer daemon message.
30 day money back if you not satisfied - a lie.

My name is Andi Bhatt and i am running a website http://www.stampastory.com. Mr Kaumil Patel is saying so many big things. But i am facing so many troubles from Vista Pages and Vista Pages made my life hell.
First of all they took money from me for couple of years that is 150 dollers, I had too many problems when i started. When ever i contacted their customer service they had no proper answers for the down time and slowness of the site. I was fed up and then i asked for my money back. When i asked for my money back they sent me an email that we have worked on your site and its working fine now and we will make sure that it never happenes in future.
Now they passed the month time without any problem, After one month when money back period passed they have started their game again.
My site is social networking site where user submits their favorite stories. Now what these clever guys have done is they blocked my submit.php file so no body can submit anything. When i contacted thier customer service they have no answer and no they had no intrest in my problem because they had already taken money from me.
They encouraged me for abusive languge and deleted everything from the server.
Now they are not intrested in any thing. You can imagine the site which you worked hard day and night.. they deleted every thing without problem.
Never go to Vista Pages they are the biggest cheaters on the web and this guy Kaumil Patel, hes the biggest fraud and Con Man in Canada. Ifyou want to ruin your life then go to Vista Pages becuase they will delete your site anytime.
I have moved to yahoo small business hosting which is best on the web.
I am writing this because people can understand and can stay away from these cheaters.

Absolutely the worst.
The up-time is erratic. They have a melt down and little to know customer support or information is provided. Our site has been down Since May 29, 2008 and as of June 2, 2008 we are still not back on line.

i hosted with vistapages but their services were far from satisfactory; besides they were very rude everytime i communicated with them; they also suspended my account for NO reason for about a month; i did not want renewal so i asked them to cancel it; when the renewal was due, after 3 months of trying to charge my card (my card was disabled for sometime), they confirmed that it is being cancelled; however they took the money; i have been writing to them but they would not answer; is this a sick company? i am sorry i ever went to them.... vistapages is one of the worst businesses to deal with...i wonder how it is listed on this site as one of the 'top' hosts..must be some error...and can you believe, they charged me @ 7.95$/m while the going rate is 5.95$/m and i was entitled for 35GB HDD while the current offer is over 500 GB.... never came across such unthinking fools...

If you like try vistapages.com y recomend don't do it.
they have really bad support service, very bad hosting service, not really accept multiple domain they have troubles.
Also the space and bandwith is a lie becouse when u use only litle space nad Bw they stop your account, the say me you need a private server your account is usign to much Bw but my account only use 3GB and they offer much more. they stop my account 1 week.
and i decide to go other hosting enterprise.
vistapages is very bad experience.

AVOID AT ALL COSTS!
If you are looking for a webhost. STOP! Don't get conned by ads about them being top-notched. Thats an absolute lie!
I've stayed with them for a good 3+ years.
1st year. Wobbly service. Their server weren't that stable. MySQL keeps crashing. Apache crashes once in a while as well. They had some kind of hardware upgrade and promised reliability. They lied. Also hackers was able to access their servers and modified our phpBB. No compensation... Heck, not even an apology! Rude, slow and arrogant customer service ESPECIALLY billing. Their forums look clean only because VP-Kaumil makes sure it looks like that i.e. he deletes complaint posts about them!
2nd year was the same. Yeah, erratic service, upgrade that did nothing and even another hacker attack! Basically nothing changed.
3rd and last year for me was when they migrated to those 'IBM infrastructure servers' and made another promise of stability. It did, but only because they targetted those that they claimed abused their CPUs. Yeah they flagged mine... Even though I only have a bunch of HTMLs! Then they gave you a hobson's choice... Upgrade to VPS or get out and (what they said) 'that is the bottom line'!
For me that screams scam... Probably at the same level as Comcast's P2P reset.
I refused their 'choice' and ask for a refund... Which they did not give. I lost the money but I don't have confidence with them anymore and I'm sure their VPS is a scam-fest as their shared hosting. I found a better one now.
So in summary: They cheat, scam, and gives you hobson's choices! Unless you want headaches... AVOID VISTAPAGES!

No, you are not alone. I am walking away from a twelve month contract with Vistapages.com because they have been down or slow almost every day. I have a stack of customer email complaining to me to prove it ! And don't tell me that "you get what you pay for" because I prepaid for almost $10 a month.
They seem to spend more time trying to manage their reputation then their servers.

HORRIBLE WEB HOST. Been using them for the past 8 months with multiple downtimes and very slow websites. Twice I came to my site to find backup copies posted. Rude tech support and services falsely advertised. Find another host. You've been warned.

I recently signed up with VistaPages.com. Although they are very nice on the phone and by email, my web page is down or VERY slow at least two-three nights each week. I don't check it during the day, so I can assume it is the same all day. Each time they have a good excuse, but this is getting ridiculous.
Apparently the last 5 people seem (suspiciously) cheerful about the Vistapages, so maybe I am the only one experiencing these problems.

I have been hosting with VistaPages for over 6 months now (close to 1year).. And all I can say is I love them..
Now I actually did experience some problems :(, but to be honest who doesnt in hosting. I had 2 downtime periods, which were very short (under 30 minutes), I had contacted the live support and they informed me exactly of the issue and gave me an ETA to have it fix.. And for the first time, an companies ETA was correct.. Actually it was working before they said it would be.
The price is great, you cannot beat the price for the service they offer. You are using the most state of the art control panel, the smartest technical team and a price that to me is worth it, when I know that my company is always going to be online.
I gave them an 9/10 just because of the downtime, if it was 100% uptime they would get 10/10.
I recommend VistaPages to anyone looking for an honest hosting company to deal with.

I would like to start out by saying that Vistapages has been a great web hosting company to deal with. I decided to use them as they came highly recommend from a friend. I hosted my web site with them for about 2 and a half years until I decided to close down my business. I remember them having some issues with server load, but were quick to reply to my complaint and resolved the issue pretty quickly too! They could have a better reporting system however. I recommend Vistapages if you're looking for a web hosting company. They did a superb job for me!

My partner and I were looking for a web host with a reasonable price and the ability to grow into. From reading the reviews, it seems people have had problems with Vistapages and we would have been more wary of signing up, had we known this earlier. In saying that, I have hosted with Vistapages now for about 2ish years (with multiple websites and projects) and not about to jump ship because of what other people say. If I am given decent service (which I have), I am one to offer my loyalty too.

I had a shared hosting plan. The price and features seemed great. The reliability has been beyond atrocious. Their support staff generally respond quickly, but they rarely actually fix anything. 99.9% uptime? Hah! It was about 50% over two months. They would have ruined my business!
I wish I'd found this review site before I signed up with these bozos.

Let's see...how do I describe how HORRIBLE VISTA PAGES is? I purchased their Small Business package, and this is my experience with this "company":
For the first 30 days there were no problems. Then all hell started breaking loose. My site and many others were all hosted on one of their aging servers, which went down several times a week for hours at a time. Then their server was hacked. Many people lost everything and had to MANUALLY publish their entire site, as their backups were all corrupt. This went on for the entire time I was with them. They kept blaming our scripts for not being up to date (which they WERE up to date), or that the passwords were weak (mine used a series of lower case & capital letters alone with numbers and was 15 characters long). This is the same excuse I found out later that they used for everyone to explain why the constant outages were happening. Their customer service representatives were incredibly rude and unhelpful with the exception of Adrian Bob.
Needless to say, when my renewal was approaching 30 days, I sent them a notification that I wished to cancel and that I had NO DESIRE to renew with them. I was asked by Peter Wakefield (the head of Quality) why I wanted to cancel. I told him. My 30 days ran out, and I was surprised to find Vista Pages had charged me for another years worth of service!!!
I have spoken with numerous customer service representatives, all of which have told me I would be reimbursed, and it still hasn't happened. I sent in tickets, and none of them have been answered. I finally posted on their forums in an effort to get this resolved, and my thread was deleted...TWICE! Then my posting privileges were revoked.
It's now been 2 MONTHS since I was charged, and promised reimbursement, and I still haven't seen my money. Do yourself a favor....if this company approaches you to host your site with them....just run.

I hosted 15 websites with VistaPages.com On April 1st, the entire server my account was hosted on was infected and my service was not secure for weeks while they told me they were fixing it. When they didn't fix the sites, I asked to have my domains pointed to another host. I have been trying to get them to point, (they don't allow me access to my domain name or I would do it myself). But now weeks later they tell me they will not point the domains, and that I will have to pay for them to be transferred to another domain host in order to point the domains.
Can you believe it?
Then, my accounts were cancelled, and I get no refund for the many months left on my account. (I prepaid for a year on all the accounts I had)
I asked them about their uptime guarantee, and they pointed me to two different contracts, (the second one was a hidden contract that attempts to disclaim the uptime guarantee), it looks exactly the same but has different clauses referring to the uptime guarantee. What a bad company- stay far away from them! So many better ones out there.

More of the same I am afraid. I was with Vistapages Vistapak for a year and although their live support is very good and prices very cheap their actual service was abysmal with very slow servers and lots of downtime, in the end they claimed that although I only ever had one hosting account with them that I had two accounts and that unless I paid for the phantom account then my service would be terminated.
I did pay for the one hosting account and domain renewal for the coming year in the hope that they would appreciate me being fair but they still deleted my account and now have locked my domain name that I use for my business. Vistapages have conned me out of the cost of a years hosting and lost me business because I have lost my email address and website. I am complaining to ENOM.

I have had an awful experience with Vista Pages Customer Service, or more appropriately, lack there of. I have been trying to transfer my domain now for almost two months....something which I have done in the past in less than two hours with different hosting companies. I have been through five support tickets, live-chatted with two service reps and called the hotline for support and am still dealing with this issue which is unresolved. I have left a voice mail on all three of the mail boxes on the support hotline. I have been calling for three days and have yet to get through to an actual person, just a machine and after leaving these messages I still have not had a return call from the company. My next step will be a phone call to the Better Business Bureau and I will strongly advise anyone who might be planning on hosting a site through Vista Pages to reconsider as there are companies out there who will take the time to assist you and perform the services which you pay for them to do.
